Don't Eat Pete

If you've never played this game, you should try it--it's one of our favorites. Tonight we played it during our Family Night and it was so funny because we started and it only took a couple times and all of the sudden Megan yells "OKAY MY TURN" and runs out of the room:) It didn't take her long AT all to catch on! This is how you play--- Even the smallest of kids can pick up on this and amazingly--take turns;) Our friends introduced us to this years ago and I even got the copyright permission to make a little gameboard of m&m characters. So you place the candies down. One person leaves the room and the others pick a numbered m&m man to be "Pete". The person returns to the room and starts picking and eating the pieces trying not to find Pete (obviously, cause then you get to eat more:)) If they do grab "Pete" everyone yells "don't eat pete" and they have to stop. Now the nice thing is you can change it up. With really small kids you can have one person pick in their mind who Pete is. Then everyone gets a turn going clockwise to pick a piece of candy and eat it. This continues until finally someone does find Pete but that person gets to eat the rest of the candy that hasn't been eaten by the group yet!

This was so funny watching her face during her turn. We let her go to the end so she could have more:) My camera's batteries died right near the end so that is why there are two videos but its funny watching her at the end.
