Snow days

We have had a lot of snow days this month. I honestly don't think my kids have had a full week of school since before Christmas break. We've gotten a lot accomplished in the house (even washed some walls:)). But we've also had a lot of fun playing too.

We have played our city game. They were UPS delivering in this picture to our neighbors.

We've had reading time---this was hilarious when I found Addie like this;) Each year my kids can earn tickets to Six Flags for reading so many hours...these days we've had lots of time for that:0

We have done a lot of picture making and some crafts (see below)Isn't this a great idea? Perfect for storing your headbands and then you can put other hair items inside too. It is just an oatmeal container, tape and scrapbook paper.
I also had the girls make their own clothes organizers--day-of-the-week tags. So now they have picked out what they are wearing and are ready to go. (hopefully this makes mornings go a little smoother and for some makes the laundry piles a little less (ha) It's amazing how many outfits one can go through in one day)

We've potty trained Addie and from the above picture you can see she tried to reward herself--too bad for her she hasn't figured out U.S. currency a little better.

And we've played with our little bubba Ryan:) He's definitely doing much better and we're all very happy about that because everybody loves to help play with or hold our cutie patootie!
