Today we had Megan's big 5 birthday party. We did a cowboy/girl theme and it turned out so fun. We started with decorating our vest so we could look like the real thing:) (well kinda)
Then we went outside for some barrel racing and trail riding:
Next, the kids tried to lasso a horse
After that we needed a drink and came inside to make our campfires:
The candy corn is the "fire". We then sang Happy Birthday to Meegaaannn
It took her a couple times to blow out the real fire but she did get it.
Then we went outside to get the "bad guys" aka scorpions, snakes, bugs etc...
One more bad guy they found:) (NOT the baby:))
And of course, the ever popular pinata-- (look high, dad was being a stinker)
it was a smashing hit!!!

Looks like the kids had a great time. It is amazing how exhausting those parties can be!
Yeah, I'm tired and all I did was read it. haha
